Entangled Strategies are (2) 4 hr seminars that focuses on applying a non-projectile, handheld tool in the context of a lethal encounter when faced with having to defend yourself or your loved ones. The course will go right into the dynamics of vertical grappling, horizontal grappling and how to move into a dominant position all the while either controlling your opponents weapons or your own. The course will end on applying the proper fundamentals in context if faced with an adversar (ies), and how to properly defend yourself as well as come out alive.

• Surviving the ambush

• Takedown Defense

• Clinch/hand fighting with weapons

• Escaping to the back

• Ground Defense

• Getting back to standing

• Student-on-Student Skill Building Simulations

Sun:

• Knife Antiquity: Fixed vs. Folder/Straight vs. Serrated/Preferred Carry Methods

• Knife Utilization: Point vs. Edge/Preferred Grips

• Knife Access: How/When/Where/Why

• Targeting

• Counter-Blade

• Counter-Wrestling

• Unentangled Knife Methodology

SEMINAR RUNS FROM FROM EITHER 9:00 AM-11:00 PM OR 9:00 AM TO 1:00 PM

Class Requirements:

• Pen & Paper

• Comfortable Clothing or No-Gi wear. Preferably real clothing you don’t mind getting grabbed/tugged on.

• Mouthpiece

• Preferred Carry Knives (And trainers if applicable)

• Open Mind
